Wire cutting pliers
With the operation of the wire cutter, the wire cutter is now a professional wire shearing device for mechanics wires from 1.5 - 2.5 mm. Round rods made of non-ferrous metals such as brass, phosphor bronce, aluminum, copper or steel can be optimally produced from a few millimeters.
By means of two hardened plane discs, which are turned against each other via the tong lever, the round bar is sheared to the desired length without burrs and without waste. There are 5 shear holes available for wire diameters 1.65, 1.8, 2.0, 2.2 and 2.5 mm. Diameters in between can also be machined with the respective larger hole with slightly less precision.
The shearing process produces flat and smooth wire ends that do not need to be reworked.
In pipe organ building, these pliers are used for the production of mechanics wires of different lengths, for the production of abstract hooks or abstract threads and also for short mechanics axles for angles and rockers.
We will supply you with the pliers, which you can also attach to a board yourself according to our illustrations. A ruler can be attached to determine the length of the wires. Very short to long wire sections can also be produced with millimeter precision.
